Hello All, Sometimes our directors, screenplay writers work hard to make the scene very emotional. Dialogue writers try their level best ;-) But sometimes either because of the actors or because of the dialogue delivery, those serious scenes have turned out to be funny... Share such scenes of India cinema... To start with Nayagan: Neenga nallavara illa kettavara.... Theriyalaye paa... :rotfl Nalla Vara Ketta Vara.mp4 - YouTube Theriyalaye.mp4 - YouTube
This thread should actually start with this scene ;-) Chandramukhi : enna kodumai sir idhu.mp4 - YouTube
Super Thread Anu!! :cheers:goodidea::2thumbsup: This one is the best Anu! Usually serious dialogues would turn funny after serials and movies re-use them in funny sense like 'Aatha aadu valathaa.. Kozhi valathaa'. But 'Enna Koduma Saravana' dialogue cracked us up the first time I heard it, inspite of the serious situation in the movie. Not just that, even the scene where Prabhu would go into a room to tell Jyothika that they are to go somewhere out on the Pournami day for which she would give a sudden threatening turn , and then followed by the outburst, and then lifting the heavy weight cot! The whole scene was funny, and Prabhu expression made me ROTFL :rotfl
Wow Anu, I guessed from the thread title in side bar that it must be yours...! Nice thread, would follow this and would come back with my inputs later.... You rock.....:bowdown
There's this dialogue we use in our home often. We all know how Visu likes to answer for one line question, with 'additional-sheets-requiring' dialogues. All his effort to bring tension to the scene would be nullified with his tone! 'Samsaaram adhu minsaaram' movie is one good example. He and his son Chidambaram [actually Visu would strain all the 206 bones to say 'Mr'. Chidambaram] had gotten into a heated argument, and Visu would be stacking questions like , 'unna valatha appavaa theiryala', 'unna kashtapattu padikka vacha appaava theriayala?'... etc.. For all questions Raghuvaran would answer 'Theriyala!'.. then Visu would end his questionaire by saying 'Appo veetta vittu veliyila podaa naayE!'. Seriously even thinking about that scene and his tone would make my whole family laugh, we would wait for this statement quietly and then laugh for good 5 minutes.. mademydaysmiley
Here's one from me.not sure if it is really funny. "Idhayathla idi, kannla mazhai" from idhayam. This turned out funny,in our hostel. One of our friends was a little off mood cos of teen ache heart break. The other commented the above dialogue and we were not sure to smile or not. It was then our non-tamil friend entered and she asked..."what! Idiot lady...? Who is idiot lady...?" And every one was in splits. From then on that dialogue would make us ..laugh1smiley
