True. Drishyam now going to be remade in Tamil and Hindi with Kamal Hassan and Ajay Devgan respectively it is reported. Will Ajay Devgan be able to play father of a 18 year old is the news doing the rounds.
friendssmiley But I do think that both of them are good, and cannot be compared. Cannot imagine Fahad Faasil in Ustaad hotel or in ABCD, nor can I imagine Dulquar in Annayum rasoolum or doing the OCD character in North 24 Kaatham... But I do wish that Fahad starts doing a little more lighter role,, else he will be stereotyped..
I also loved it. I was wondering whats so great in this movie in the first half! then second half - it was so gripping. Excellent movie!
Hi All, Caught this movie yesterday and was very impressed. At the start of the movie when nothing was happening, I knew that this was all a setup to something big that is going to follow and everything will be tied up. There is no way a movie will be so talked about and start so slow, right? *Spoliers ahead* *end spoiler* Life is a complicated beast. Though you are a bystander, you get pulled into the tornadoes and things don't remain the same again. I heard the telugu version was doing well. But I looked at the stills to from malayalam and telugu and found the telugu ones too bright and shiny. I think the original got the look and feel right. I don't think I want to see Kamal in this movie. This role has to be underplayed and underplaying is not kamal's USP ( Unniapol oruvan ). I wonder who would be a good fit for this movie in tamil. I think I would like to Sivakumar in this role, but maybe he is a bit too old for romance scenes. Late Murali could have been good. Arjun probably!!
I love Kamal, but I totally agree with you. Hope he does justice to this role. What about Sarath kumar?
Hi Me to watched Drishyam last two weeks before loved the acting of Mohanlal and Meena very nature and especially liked the location and view of their house. Kindly advise any recent good Malayalam movie with good plot ivjothi
Unfortunately I am not fond of Sarath's acting. But its hard to step into Mohanlal's shoes. He is such a natural actor.
What kind of movies do you like? Last month I watched "Banglore Days". Nice fun movie. If you are looking for serious movie, then watch "How old are you"
My DH says the same of Sarath Kumar. I am an exception I guess. I have seen only a few malayalam movies of Sarath Kumar. I liked him those.
