The Item Girl Trend

Recent trend in Bollywood is of Hot Item Girls. Even big stars like Aishwarya Rai and Lara Dutta are doing a movie just for one item song. With Kajrare-kajrare in Bunty aur babli, Aishwarya showed that she can be an item number too. Should big stars do item songs? Doesn't it reflect their acting disabilities?

Item Girl just has to shoot for one dance and get good money. Why will Aishwarya Rai or Lara Dutta hesitate doing just one song and earn big amount of money? We cannot forget Malaika Arora who did dance on "Chaiya Chaiya" in the movie Dil Se and became more popular than Manisha Koirala (heroine of the movie). I think thats when the trend of Item girl started wherein heroines also dance just on one song in the entire movie and get money. Shahrukh Khan did same in Karan Johar's movie Kaal

True that playing item girl has more money with less work. But what about the self satisfaction? I think any good actor will be more satisfied if he/she delivered good quality acting. Amitabh Bachhan would not have been Amitabh Bachhan by just doing Item dances. His acting capabilities paid. We remember Jaya Bachhan too for her great acting skills.

Money is not everything. I will still prefer Shahrukh khan to do good acting rather than dancing on the tunes of Karan Johar in Kaal. Right???

Today, the item girl Rakhee Sawant was in news for her vulgar dance numbers in public stage show in Kolhapur. The company has asked for Rs. ONE CRORE from her for breaking the law and giving vulgar poses in public. And the worst thing is the director of her dance and the dresses (hardly any) is her brother himself !!! Rakesh Sawant gives all the sexy dance actions and dresses to her sister.

Whatever happened to the Brother-Sister relationship distances????

It seems Rakhi Sawant is now fond of controversies. After her short clothes on stage shows, she seems to be enjoying media attention to her. Now Rakhi Sawant claims that Mika kissed her forcibly on his birthday party.

Anyone who saw the video clip on TV will know that Rakhi Sawant was too joyous and dancing and kissed Mika first. It was only after that Mika returned her kiss back. Rakhi Sawant jumped onto Media with all this showing her pictures of Mika Birthday Party.

Tanushree Dutta, Koyna Mitra, Riya Sen and all these item girls have never been successfull in bollywood and hence they resort to such cheap publicity like Rakhee Sawant to stay in limelight. They dont have acting caliber so what to do? Just kiss and get hit is the formula. Allegations are also in air that they do plastic surgery for their face lift to stay looking younger...is that true and feasible?
