| Dear ILs, I need suggestions for good english movies. I have watched quite a few. The thread is for indian movies, but not sure where to post this. My taste is varied. I prefer action with comedy like Rush hour series. I liked dramas like Devil Wears Prada, white palace etc. I enjoyed 'the beautiful mind' ( One of it s types) . Waiting to watch 'the pi'. Any other interesting real life stories ? Also I like thrillers and comedies ( like meet the fockers) which are close to indian versions, or liked world over. Romantic movies, again close to indian type is preferable. I did not like ;the american beauty'. So all this information is about my choices. Could you all suggest something in similar lines ? Think of movies which have been in your hearts for a long time and had left an impact ? Or the ones you were tempted to watch again and again. Or the ones u always suggested to your friends..... Love, Vidya

| Hi, am a new IL lite. I had not watched many English Movies,i just started to watch'em after coming to US, coz i have no other choice. Here are the few that i enjoyed. 1.Stranger than fiction. Its a very different movie. There is a real life character, that is very much the same as a character in a book, that an author is writing. Its thrilling and the screenplay is awesome. 2.Naked Gun Naked Gun 2 1/2 Naked Gun 33 1/3 These are the three series of Naked Gun. These are class Comedies. They aint much real time funs, but every other dialogue, and stupid happenings will make u laugh. 3. Dirty Pretty things. Nice movie.Try it. 4.Forest Gump. If u like Shashawnk redemption, then u must like this too. 5. zoolander. Stupid comedy.u may like it |
