Hi Shanvy, Thank you so much for your immediate response. I am planning to sing this song in diwali funtion in tamil sangam.I thought the tune is classical which I like and it has the tempo to keep going. Where did you find the lyrics? I was surfing for quite a while and was unable to get it. Is there any particular site for film song lyrics? If there is please post it .Thanks for your help again.

here it he link for the lyrics and translation (I think it is the tamil version for the telugu movie). both but the song in the original telugu has so many mistakes (which i have corrected when posting here) and . i am not too proficient in telugu but do understand the language will definitely try.

It is a nice song. yes it is based on classical music. the happy part is hindolam, and where there is obsession/sallapam/sadness it is surya(I was told). It has made the female singer famous overnight. I just found the lyrics, because my daughter likes to play songs on the keyboard, so have to get the lyrics of the songs she fancies.

Any idea from where I can get lyrics for old tamil movie songs like 'Saraswathy sabatham' , 'thiruvilayadal' etc. and even tamil bharathiyar songs like 'kaani nilam vendum..' etc. ?

I think singer sowmya has sung most of bharathi songs.
http://www.sas.upenn.edu/~vasur/bharathi.html. this link gives you the songs like kaani nilam...but it does not have ettanai kodi inbam and all... so let me see...
If i come across i will definitely give you.
regarding saraswathy sabatham,thiruvilayadal have not tried as daughter is not interested... so will defintely try to post the link if i get one....
