a joke on stop loss...to loosen up...

A stock Trader had a dream one night. In his dream, God came to him and said,---"You have another 50 years of prosperous life to live-- so, go and Enjoy!"

Trader woke up suddenly, he was very happy that God has said that he has another 50 years--so he wanted to celebrate it! He put on his clothes, took his car and dashed to the posh discotheque in the town. In his excitement, he drove so fast that he crashed his car to a truck and died instantaneously.

God received his soul in the heaven. Trader asked God, why did he die, when he still had another 50 years of life?

God said, " Sorry son, stop-loss got triggered"

Hi all,

Market reaction may be cautious and sentimental owing to the first mahurat trading that ended without any sparkle...will keep updated as the day's trading goes....

Hey friends

One question on dividends. If companies declare dividends per share, how does it get transferred to our accounts? I have a DEMAT and online trade account. I am not an day trader.I carry out my orders mostly thru phone.Mine is not a savings linked demat account. How do I come to know that a company has declared dividend ? Do the company or your brokerage send any mailers ?

Pls clarify

I think I can clarify this. You said you have a Demat Trading account. If it is in a Bank then your S.B A/c.will be linked with the trading accont. If tyour question is pertaining to a Demat script then u dont hav to worry it will automatically credited in your a/c.
You can verify this in your credit statements.
I will be able to clarify further if u name the company and the name of your demat holder.

ridgemma,

As pammor clarified, your savings account will be credited with your dividend amount. and also you will be getting an quarterly statement of your holdings from your demat company stating any bonus issues, dividends declared and also how they reflect on your account holdings...

check your bank accounts.....hope this clarifies.....
