Congratulations, your score is: 69
You're Pretty Darn Cheap! You scored between 60 and 79. You aren't as cheap as some but you've done a pretty good job with most of the fundamentals. You should pat yourself on the back and be proud of what you represent. In these tough times however, you can always strive to save a little more money and live a little better off. We have some articles that should help you accomplish that:

I might have scored even higher than I did because some of those questions had limited options. For example, the only clothes I buy here are those from Ross / Marshall's (very convenient because these stores are all present at my favorite malls !) - and these stores are even cheaper than Wal*Mart! Secondly, to be very honest, I do the BULK of my shopping in India.
Secondly, we hardly ever buy any groceries at Safeway / Lucky's etc. We always buy at the local Indian stores where everything is AT LEAST 30% cheaper than at Safeway! I also grow my own tomatoes, curry leaves etc, to avoid buying these (at least in the summer). So, we don't need coupons!
I only buy my textbooks online. I comparison shop at campusi.com to find which online vendor has the CHEAPEST prices going for the books I need to buy and then shop - no sales tax!
I make my own home-made cleaners. My favorite cleaners are vinegar and baking soda. I use cloth towels, and not paper towels, to clean and wipe.
Finally, I had a hard time with the car question because only one of our cars is new (and it was bought 10 years ago when I didn't know much about automobile purchases and the tricks of the trade at car dealerships)! I believe in buying high quality used cars, maintaining them well and keeping them FOREVER. Our babies get top-class / high quality maintenance (even if I say so myself!) and I never skimp on their services as and when they become due.
Had they had an option that stated "You never buy new cars!" or "You only buy gently used cars, maintain them, and keep them forever!", I'd have been crowned Queen of Cheap, LOL.
