 Buying & selling rates of foreign exchange! Hi Friends, I would like to know the Dollor value given by banks in India. For eg today market rate is 1$ - 43.8 RS..but what would be the bank rate( I know each bank's rate is different but want to know the fair value) If any of you know the details. please let know. | Re: Buying & selling rates of foreign exchange! You can check in bank website.The rate also varies for different ranges of amount.For amount more than 25000$ you can negotiate rate at bank. WellsFargo bank Competitive exchange rates (U.S. Dollars to Indian Rupees) — call 1–800–556–0605 to get current rates. I have found the rates closer to 42.50 at State Bank of India. Thanks Mangai
