What are equity funds and which ones are the best to invest in currently?

    Please share some information about equity funds. I have read at a number of investment sites that investing in equities is a very good way to beat inflation. But I do not have much knowledge about investing in MF's. Please give suggestions for investing in good equity funds. Thanks.

    Google top performing equity funds. You will get ranking froms different websites like economictimes, moneycontrol. Take the common funds from all the recommendations and study their performance. Invest in SIP to tide over price fluctuations.
