Tracking of invest ments depends on its type. Fixed deposits with national bank dont need any tracking.Only trend of interst rates (falling/ rising) is to be seen. Fixed Deposits with NBFC or public companies should be tracked by having a look on networth of these companies through Business News/portal. Investments in share market needs much attention.If it is long term keep a watch on companies growth & future plans through news, share market. If scrip is healthy , short term downfall should not be taken as painful.
