I don't know much about brand names.
I believe Apple brand names depends upon local farm suppliers.
Mostly apple brands comes with local area farm name.
normal apple, golden apple & green apple tastes good.
Florida oranges & california oranges tastes good.
If u r going to use orange peel for beauty purpose wash oranges(preferbly with warm water) before u peel.
y bcz to show them shiningly they coat oranges with wax.

Navel oranges (from california and florida or even the local brand) are the ones which can be peeled easily. the skin will be thick. For juice, thin skin is preferable. In both cases weight is important.
Apples with shades of yellow and red are usually tasty. Red ones will be soft inside. With green apples (Granny Smith apples) you can make thokku just as the mango. It tastes good.
Buy different types each time you go to the market and try and you will become an expert in picking those fruits, soon.

I try different varieties every time, but now during this pregnancy i hate eating apples, i feel some produce some smell. None of the apple taste like we get in India
Thats why i am asking here
Hi Sanravi,
Congrats on your pregnancy. Taste differs during this time. Moreover why can't you try apple slices with peanut butter or dip it in chocolate syrup and then eat it.
Try Mcintosh or Gala apples. Green apples (Granny Smith apples) are little bit sour in taste, which you may like during these times.
why can't you try applesauce if you don't like the smell of the apples?
Nothing tastes like what we get in India. (vegetables and fruits) I agree.
