Post Cheese n Rice Balls

Ingredients
  • 30 ml olive oil
  • 250 ml rice, washed
  • 700 ml hot water
  • 75 g mozzarella cheese
  • Fresh basil to garnish
  • ½ red pepper, diced
  • Herbs - fresh Dhania, basil
  • Oil for deep frying
Instructions
  1. Heat the olive oil
  2. Add the pepper and rice to the pan and cook for 3 min stirring to coat the rice in oil
  3. Mix the Spice Up Your Rice with the water and add to the pan a little at a time, waiting for the liquid to be absorbed by the rice before adding the next ladleful of liquid
  4. Once all the liquid has been absorbed and the rice is tender, remove the pan from the heat and leave until the mixture is cool enough to handle
  5. Cut the cheese into 12 blocks, then, taking about a tablespoon of risotto, shape the mixture around the cheese pieces to make 12 balls
  6. Heat the oil and fry the risotto balls in batches until golden
  7. Serve hot and garnish with fresh basil

hi i think one way of making children eat veg is by trying to make innvative recipes..one such is making chapathi rolls....

prepare chapathi the usual way..grate veg like carrots, cabbage and cut capsicum n onion into thin long pieces....heat butter in a kadai and add these veg and sum salt and a bit of red chilli powder for spicyness....when it gets cooked reomove frm fire and add lime juice...

now smear ghee on the chapathis and spread sum of the veg mix and roll it.....this wud b very attractive for the children as it wud b very colorful and at the same time they get to eat all the veg and get desired nutrition..

lov
