Default Sprouted Moong Dhal Kichadi

Sprouted Moong Dhal Kichadi

Ingredients:

Basmati rice- 1cup( soaked in 1/2 hour)
sprouted moong Dhall - 1/2 cup
coconut grated 1/2 cup

Coriander powder-4 tsp
redchilly powder-1 tsp
hing powder 1/4 tsp
turmeric powder-pinch
water -11/2 cup or 2 cup
salt - as required

Garnishing:
corriander leaves chopped
cashewnut -8
sugar-1/2 tsp(if required)
oil to fry-2tsp


Method:
In a cooker,2 tsp oil put basmati rice frying for few minute.
after that put turmeric powder,coconut grated,hing powder,put water allow him to boil.
after , you must put sprouted moong dhall,coriander powder,chilly powder,salt ,mixed well .
close the cooker & allow him to cook for 2 whistle
after that,fry cashewnut with little ghee.
garnish with coriander leaves .

hi friends,

same as think we can also make palak rice.
its really a healthy and tasty one.

1.wash palak properply.
2. put it in mixer n make a paste,add garlic also.
3. take oil and put cumin(jeera) and put the paste in it, stir it for 15-20 min.
4. take rice and put this paste with it and the entire thing in cooker.

I buy Brown rice. recently i found that they sold Brown Basmati rice nearby and price is quite cheap too compared with white rice
very tasty
I have made pulao and even mint pulao using brown rice.
Brown bread you can make any sandwich you normally like.

Smile Oriental fried rice.

this takes just 10 min to make.

ingredients


peas (boiled) - 1 cup

sweet corn (boiled) - 1 cup

carrot (small cubes) - 1 cup

cabbage ( finely chopped) - 1/2 cup

sprouts - 1 cup

spring onions leaves ( finely chopped) - 1 cup

tofu (cubes) - 1/2 cup

soya sauce - 1/4 tsp

tomato sauce - 1 tsp

chilli sauce - 1 tsp

salt - to taste

rice - cooked - 3 cups

olive oil - 1 tsp

procedure:

take a saucepan, put 1tsp oil, put peas, corn fry well. Add sprouts, carrots, cabbage, spring onion leaves. Fry for 2 min. Then add tofu, soya sauce, chilli sauce, tomato sauce. Mix well. Then add the cooked rice. Add salt. Mix everything well.

Oriental fried rice is ready.

hi shel,

tofu is just like paneer. its made out of soya milk. u can find it in super markets.

no need to add ajinomoto...not good for health know....
