Hi Uma,

I used make Broccoli masala.

Cut Broccoli into small flowerets. Put these pieces in boiling water and clean the broccoli and drain the water completely.
Heat the oil. Add mustard seeds. When it splutters, add the urad dal. When the urad dal is roasted, add the onions, when onion turns brown add chili powder, coriandor powder and salt. mix it well. then add Broccoli. Cover the pan and fry it. Don't add water and don't cook for too long in stove. (cook for 5 to 10 mins).
Try it.

One of my friend told me the below receipe.

Cut the broccoli and cook it in the stream. Try do the regular seasoning and fry 1 onion and 3 green chilli. add salt and steamed broccoli stir it well.

Default Thanku Teja

Dear Teja,
Am glad to hear that u liked my Peanut chutney recipe.
& Coming to Rava dosa, Some times crispyness depends upon the Rice flour we use.
That is what I observed.
Any way glad to hear that good news from u.

Regards
Bye

Hi friends,

Anyone knows how to prevent mushrooms from leaving water when cooked ?? I don't wash them in lots of water, just wipe with wet towel. I do not add salt to them, cook in high flame only, and also don't cover the pan . I've also tried sprinkling besan, cornflour etc. on them before adding to pan -- still it becomes watery and not been able to make a dry version even once !
While serving I simply have to drain out the water & so all flavour also goes down the drain...:icon_frown: .........
What to do ?

With thanks,
Dew.
