Sharing with you banana cake that i baked last night and had for breakfast :). The recipe is Chithrammas link is here http://www.indusladies.com/forums/5030-post25.html. I made the second one using oil. it's a very soft yet well textured cake. i also added some chocolate chips with walnuts.

    Dear all,
yesterday i tried few dishes and it came out really very well.

yesterday evening for snack, i did methi chappathi rolls. all of a sudden my hubby emptied it.

yesterday for dinner, i did plain phulkas(i didn't add milk, i too experimenting hmmmm), with capsicum egg curry. phulkas were very soft. though my DH came late, he ate 2 above than usual saying that today only chappathi is so soft than i did it for him before.

also i tried naan recipe. the recipe from a old mangaiar malar book. it too was nice and soft.

today morning i did coconut milk rice. flavor was yummy and i itself
emptied it. so no photograph of it.

    Dear friends,

Our simple sunday lunch: rice with Chitvish's sweet vathakuzhambu and bittergourd fry.

A baking session after a small nap with my son. He did most part of the job- spooning the batter in the tin, levelling it, arranging apples on top and spreading the topping... so here comes the almond apple cake. it was delish still warm with a nice cup of ginger chai. you'll likely get visual treats of more apple bakes since i, as usual, got a bit more apples than we could handle:bonk. but then this weather is perfect to switch on the oven often...

EDITED TO ADD THIS NOTE: THE ORIGINAL CAKE RECIPE GIVES BAKING TIME OF OVER 1 HR. BUT MINE GOT DONE IN LESS THAN AN HOUR. SO KEEP AN EYE AFTER THE 45TH MINUTE OR SO...
