Latha, thanks for the feedback, and the tip about poriyal - it's incredible how many different words there are for the many kinds of "curries" out there. I am a great admirer of all your cooking efforts. I'll try the fennel seeds next time I make this. My husband and I like our food gentle, so I go easy on the spices, oil and heat. I find that if my ingredients are good and fresh, I don't need to season as much. But I know some people like a little more excitement :)

Hi Latha,
Absolutely super stunning Rasagullas.. Never tried making rasagullas at home. I'm so motivated to try it soon. Will post my outcome.

Smart_soul, Tofu is one of our favs. I often make stir-frys,wraps, noodles, rice and soup with tofu. Your plate looks so cool (Guess, I need to make tofu tomorrow )

Thanks Nandhu and Uma for your comments. Yes. I hardly take any pics of my preparations (I agree.. I'm very lazy). Will be sure to take going forward.

I wanted to have noodles with the stir fry but unfortunately when I opened the spagetti pack, it was infested with bugs and had to throw it and ended up with white rice. Wasn't bad though, for I made 4 servings (2 for dinner last night and 2 for lunch today) but nothing was left to pack for lunch

Wrap is a good option too. Never thought of that.

Nandhu, now why am I not surprised that a firecracker like you likes your food spicy... in South Africa, we tend to like very spicy curries, but my husband's liking for more subtle flavours has finally rubbed off on me.

Thank you, Susri and Ramie, for the compliments. I made a spicy vegetable stew yesterday that I wanted to photograph and post here, but we were so hungry we devoured it instead! Might "re-run" it for my lunch today, and if I'm not famished, try to take a pic this time ;)
