My DIL makes pizza base too from scratch, and it comes out very nice and spongy. Here is the recipe.

1.3 1/2 cups flour (2 cups All purpose flour+1 1/2 wheat flour)

2.2 packs (8gms each) active dry yeast +honey/sugar 1 tsp + salt 1/2 tsp dissolved in a cup of water and kept aside for 10 minutes.

3Mix yeast mixture with flour and knead to a soft elastic consistancy and place in a bowl and keep aside for 2-3 hrs, beating once in between.

4.make pizzas in pizza pan (or baking dish)in different sizes ,or several small ones for kids, as jithiks says) and top with homemade tomato sauce, preferred vegetables and cheese according to each person's taste and requirement.

5.bake for 40 mts @ 375 deg.

Yummy homemade pizza from scratch is ready!

tomato sauce:
INGREDIENTS
5 large tomatoes, blanched ,peeled and crushed
2 tablespoons vegetable oil
1 large onion, chopped
2 cups water
3 leaves fresh basil leaves
2 cloves garlic, crushed
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon ground black pepper

DIRECTIONS

1. In a large saucepan over medium-high heat, saute onions in the oil until golden brown. Add crushed tomatoes, water, basil, garlic, salt and pepper. Let the sauce come to a boil, lower heat to low and stir occasionally until desired thickness. Sauce is ready .

Hi friends!
You are welcome!
Here is another yummy snack.Though not creamy enough for kids, can be eaten by all age groups without guilt.Sorry Next time, will sure photograph them (Before anyone pouncing on them...of course!) and post them here.

Chocolate chip cookies
ingredients:

3/4/cup oats
1 cup flour (1:1 all purpose flour:wheat flour)
1/2 cup chocolate chips
2/3 cup brown sugar
1ts[ baking soda
1 tsp vanilla
3/4 tsp salt
1/4 cup apple sauce
1/4 cup veg.oil

Method:

Mix the dry ingredients.

Add apple sauce & vegetable oil

mix with a ladle,

and spoon it on a baking tray with little spacing in between.

Bake @ 350 deg. for 10-15 mts, turning half way through.

And another one for diabetics too!

Savory snack:

Ing:
2 cups flour 1/2 each All purp. flour and wheat flour
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp sugar
1 tsp baking soda 1 1/4 cups milk
1 tblsp. lemon juice
Method:
Pre heat oven to 350 deg.

Mix dry ingredients

Stir in milk and mix with fork.

Stir quickly to moisturize the dry ingredients.

Drop mix with large spoon onto a lightly greased cookie sheet spacing in between.

Smooth top with wet fingers and sprinkle sesame/caraway/poppy seeds.

For variety you can try any flavor with adding crushed basil leaves in the dough, or adding crushed pepper and cumin seeds, minced garlic, fresh minced chives,or minced fresh oregano etc.I added a tablespoon of peanut butter too, when I made this.

Bake for 10-15 minutes until golden brown at the bottom and beginning to color at the top.
