Hi Krish,

CONGRATULATIONS ON STARTING A NEW THREAD!

Maggi Masala is a hot favourite. Have you tried with Top Ramen masala? I have always felt that the Top Ramen noodles are more tasty. Of course I do not know whether it is because of the noodles or masala. You have proved that you are as good as your mother with the tips.

Regards,

Abha.

Hello Abha Aunty,

You can use any masala. I just wrote Maggie masala, as it has mostly become a brand name for noodles (as Godredj for wardrobes).

Also, if you like Chinese taste, try adding a pinch of Agino-motto along with salt (as per your taste)....

Hello Meena Aunty,

The "kootu podi" is as per Amma's recipe (which you can find from Amma's Index / sub forum).

Dear Krish

Great work..! Extremely glad to know that you cook when mom is not home. You are definitely a unique young man. Also, I realise that you are Krshnaamma's son. You prove to be 'like mom like son'

The pictures are great. All all your recipes sound very practical. Kudos to your efforts. Great going...!

Hello KuteKrish,

It is really great job your mummy has done to teach you simple /easy stuff & has encouraged you to cook for your self rather than depend on outside food which is very bad for health [ and pocket too ] ! And even greater thing that you've followed it and have taken up her guidance and are doing so well for yourself . I really appreciate that !! I've seen often [in my family included] the youngsters turn up their noses at learning to cook as it is seen as 'women's stuff' ' .

Good luck to you in all your endeavours in life and a to your loving mother too !
