Dear Ladies,

I was extremely disturbed to read this website.

The mother of the 6 year old child has kidnapped her son and she has been diagnosed with Munchausen by Proxy. I first heard about the disorder on Dr Phil show. I was extremely shocked to see the footage they showed on the show. Some mothers deliberately abused their children so blatantly just to get medical attention. It was so sickening.

Oh Kavya, I first heard about Manchausen by Proxy syndrome on the Dr.Phil show too...And was completely repulsed by the mother's antics... trying to harm her baby/ induce sickness in the baby..all in order to get some attention!! I was sure then that it was a rare case of a mentally deranged mother...But now!!! Am alarmed to know there can be more such people in our midst!

Yeah me too. I would not have believed such a psychological condition existed until I saw the video footage. It was sooo sickening. Imagine a mother making her own child sick over and over again just to get attention !! My heart goes out for the child with such moms.
