Ideas for teacher appreciation gifts/goodies

I need some ideas and suggestions to give teacher appreciation gifts for my daughter's daycare teachers. Any inputs will be appreciated....

Hope I'm not too late to contribute my ideas.

My favourite gift idea would be a small gift basket. I made one for my son's teacher when he was in class 2. I just got a small cane basket with a long handle and arranged some four five items in it like a choclate bar, key chain, a pen, small note pad etc. and wrapped it up with cello paper and ribbon .

The teacher's name is Ms.Rose, so I decided to do it in red color. So everything was red....red bows,red paper, red pen and the chocolate bar wrappen in red paper and a red rose of course. And to give it a personalised effect, I got the keychain made with albhabet beads to spell her name 'Rose'.

Another gift could be a good journal/ diary and some interesting pen. These things are always useful for teachers.This can be coupled with a handmade card.

Or some small gift book of quotations etc. with a message from your daughter or you.

Lots of ideas ....will write more later.
