Default summer programs or ideas

Hi friends,

Now that the spring is here, the schools will be closing in another few months and then, the same question. HOw to spend time or what to do? Cant ask them to take a book and prepare for the next year which is not totally fair, that too staying in east coast!!

Anyhow, can you all suggest on summer programs or any classes where they can have fun in outdoors for the week? I dont want to send my kids full day camp. Pls share yr thoughts/ideas.

Thanks and Bye.

Dear Friends,

other than the summer classes make the children do book reading. Sometimes story books and at times informative books. Take them to nearest library and cultivate the habit of book reading for them. Its my humble opinion.

as here there will be more chill in winters, children can't move outside for playing.
If u take them outside they will feel happy.
my opinion is as u have children u can can take membership for any field museum or science museum or zoo so that u can go any number times to that.
It will be a outing for them & also can gain knowledge
regards

I have always given the choice to my children to do what they want , instead of sending them to summer camps or to do summer projects. At times I had planned holiday trips to places wher they had not been earlier. Get them to know our relatives and friends.

I enrolled my son one week half day soccer camp and one week half day science camp. My daughter a dance camp.

I also registered them an online summer math program from Noetic Learning. A program I used last year that I strongly recommend if you have elementary school age kids. I am currently looking for a list of reading books for them. If you have any good suggestions, let me know.

And we are going to visit new york and DC for a couple of weeks.

That is my summer plan.
