 What has happened to this society? Is it safe for kids? What has happened in our society? It has come to the stage when children can't walk home from school safely. I work as a teacher in London and I have heard of several cases where children walking home from school at 3:30pm are mugged by older kids for money/mobile phones/jewellry. One student told me he was travelling home by bus and some kids approached him and grbbed his 'phone. A few months ago, it happened to my own son who was walking home from school. This is London today. What's it like in your community? Is it a safe place for kids?      |
