| Hi friends, Today while turning off match stick, small bit of hot oil jumped on to my skin leaving a mild burning sensation and red skin..Any OTC ointment or suggestions..Please help.Thank you. |

| Supriya This has happened to me many times.. my doctor advised me to immediately hold ice to the spot.. this prevents scar tissue forming.. I have seen this work.. also try Mederma cream / ointment. |

| I used ghee on my burn the other day and now I have no scar and it took away the pain. I had got scolded by boiling water.
