Urgent Help For My Baby

Please help immidiately........
my baby is 13th month old.today he vomitted twice after drinking water.today he couldn't eat anything without breastmilk........
I can't understand what I'll do.I just breastfeeded him n gave saline water.
any suggession pls.

I assume you have tried phoning you mother, MiL or other senior women in your family. Did u try your baby's pedeatrician?

Dont worry, all will be well. Just make sure, you dont delay taking the baby to a doctor.

Dear Piu,
Relax mentally first. Please do not panic.
Breastmilk is good enough. Give him on demand, however small, the feeds are. Give plain water with salt & sugar, not saline water. Give plenty of water to prevent him from dehydration. Do not forcefeed anything. All is well so long as he takes feeds from you.
Get in touch with your paediatrician at your earliest.
All will be well.

Is he having fever or cold, why i am asking this is because it is winter. IF it salt+sugar+boiled water it is fine..but plain salt water will again induce vomiting...


if he is sustaining on breast feed, do feed him more frequently..and do consult your doctor....
