Thumbs down Help a HIV Postive Child

Today is First December declared as WORLD AIDS DAY!
Please help a 13 year old Orphan girl who was tested positive for HIV .

She hates to drink the Sathu Mavu Kanji (Gruel). If we can get recepies for Snacks with Sathu Mavu as the main ingredian we can try & feed her good amount of sathu Mavu. We are an NGO who take care of this Child. Please post the recepies here

to your noble work, Sir!

To my knowledge, have you tried the 'sathu mavu urandai' with vellam?
Hope she likes the 'sweet taste' of it!

Sir,
Add powdered jaggery to the maavu, according to the taste and can make the urundai as it is!
or add a little bit of water and make small adais and roast it in the tava with some ghee!

Have you tried the sathu maavu with mashed bananas or fruits or mix with boiled vegetables?

Dear Kannansir,

You are doing very commendable service. Our best wishes to this child and other residents in your care.

Please draw the attention of our resident cookery expert Mrs ChitVish to this query. She will surely suggest some suitable recipes. You can also alert Krishnamma, Sunkan and Vandhana (who is also a nutrition specialist). They all will have suggestions.

regards
Vidya
