hi everybody

to all who live abroad, do u cook sometimes the food of ur country?

for example
i live in england and i cook sausage frankfurt. i fried them with a pinch of turmeric, chilli powder and salt. it taste very good with white rice with rasam and ghee or i fried in butter ham.....yummy

Nice discussion as food is my favourite subject:)

I am from South India and every week I make fresh idlis and Dosas for my family. Completely homemade to our indian standards.. Also I make Vegetable Biryani and my speciality is Pav bhaji (Yummy!!) and Chole-Bhature..

I can go on and on about this stuff..but I think I will stop here otherwise I feel like eating them right now..

hi nice thread...

When i was in muscat...i have tried...falafel....patties made out of chana....

and omani halwa is a favourite of my husband and fil...it is the same wheat milk cooked with caramelised sugar and lots of nuts....
