Does anyone listens to Music while cooking / bathing ?

Just saw this wonderful thread of yours !

Yes, I simply love music and during my school & college days, I always listened to music irrespective of what I was doing !

Now, i listen to music sometimes during cooking, since living room is close, TV or video games will be on when children are around. If they are at school, then, yes, I do listen to music !

But, mostly I listen to songs when I am driving (not loud :) ) which puts me in a calm and good mood !

Dear Krithika, Welcome to our Music thread ... ... Even in our house, when kids are around, I cannot play songs in Living, So I always play it in Kitche while doing my work. When I leave kitchen, I got to swtich off the Music, but if kids are not around sure I play it in Living while doing my other chores ... But, can't play very often when my Hubby is around as he doesn't like playing Music wherever I go ... In CAR yes I do but I shld say DEFINITELY... b'coz whenever I start the Car, Music automatically plays and will never stop it ... ... but ofcourse not very loud ... Regards, Suni ...

I love music especially hindi songs both old and new. I listen to songs especially when im cooking as it relaxes my mood and my DH says it reflects in my cooking when i listen to my favourite songs.

Now that FM radio is available 24X7 i mostly listen to radio all the time. I have an old tape recorder in my kitchen and i tune into my fave FM radio station.What a what a fun !!!!!!

Me and my husband love music. We opt for hearing songs rather than watching TV. Even when i cook i switch on the radio And proceed with my work.

My favourite is Aahaa 91.9 FM Climax of Entertainment the best FM i have ever heard. They not only play songs but also invite great celebrities and ask them to share their music experience with the listeners.

My fav program in aahaafm is "Rajangam", which is completely about the maestro Illayaraja and his musical experience.Many popular singers share their work experience and the techniques he ad used in his composition.

If possible listen to it.

I always listen to Bollywood songs when I am cleaning cooking keeps mind busy and makes me happy and time goes by so much faster too.I love it,even I am listening now.I always sing along and start dancing too at timeshave to learn to control that when boyfriend is around.

I listen to World Space Radio while cooking.
Shruthi-carnatic music in the mornings
KLM-Tamil old songs and ragam-based songs in the afternoons and evenings
Old Hindi songs in the night.
I prefer World Space Radio for its clarity and continuous songs without commercials!

Saw this thread only now.I like to have music on when I am cooking and doing household chores, but only when I am alone. Since kitchen is close to living room, TV will be on when kids and DH are home. When I am driving, I always have some music to play -usually old Hindi or carnatic or bhajans/ ghazals.
