Kidney failure. Need urgent advice !!

I want an urgent advice from anyone who can help.One of our friend's brother is seriously ill and the doctor says that he has serious kidney problem. both his kidnies are in problem and that there's little that can be done now except eat some medicine till he can. our friend's very upset and at this point can't think anything and we want to help him. There's very little hope and i guess the only solution is kidney transplant. Other than that there's nothing as per the doctor. Please advice. The patient must be in his late thirties or early forties and has a little girl... Its really sad to see them loosing hope like this. Is finding a kidney donor possible here in chennai??? i heard its not as there was some trouble in the past. I don't know much as i'm new but Please try to help.

I am very very sad to hear about the person. I will pray God for him. I dont know about the donors but you can ask any 'social orgn.' to help you. Like Lions club . They will surely help by showing you the donur. Please have faith in God and surely your friend's brother will get a donor.

Place all faith in God, I am sure He will take care of your friend and his family. Try MOHAN.They harvest organs for transplant. Also, try TANKER Foundation in Chennai, chief patron is a Dr Georgi in MGR Medical college. Tanker does not do organ transplants,they do free dialysis.But they will be able to give you good advice on where reliable donors may be available.

I sincerely hope my leads work out. Praying for the best.

I read about the message, my friend forwarded a mail regarding this foundation, i may give u, This foundation is called TANKER ( Tamilnadu kidney research foundation) in chennai, here they are doing all treatment for kidney related problems.They are doing treatment at subsidiary rate for poor people.

I know a family which faced similar situation in the past. In this case the patient's spouse donated the kidney, since they could not find a donor / organ right away. Both of them are fine now even several years after the transplant surgery.

I don't know about her but definitely its a good option.Thanx again ladies. Its just that when ur very troubled u can't think of anything. Thanx for being there to give ur valuable suggestions.
