Yes, I do get his help when draping saree and sometimes for the jewelry. He is always more than happy to help me. As some mentioned, I ask his help to get out of dresses/tops which are tight and just won't come off.

GiJoe,

His answer depends on how I dress. Some of the most frequent answers -you are fine or something doesn't look right,

More specific - your bindi is too small, too much make up - you look like a drama artist :) (Yes he says that- When I put too much eyeliner).

Sometimes I get a nice kiss which means I am beautiful :).

Don’t get annoyed when he does that to his wife.

Hi all,
Everybody has shared Very nice thoughts .

i also thought od putting some input here.
My hubby does help in Dressing only if i ask but it takes long time. And the tricky thing is that while i tell him to help me in saree pleats he will get romantic .

So we usually get late

So i think it is better to dress on my own rather than taking his help.

My DH helps me while I'm getting ready & mainly in the shoes area. I am crazy about shoes & have a huge collection, so when I'm getting ready for a party & getting all dressed up, I call out to him to get a particular shoe & he does it for me.
Of course, helping with the pleats, zipper & hooks are all the extras.

This is a nice thread - I dont ask dh for help directly, nor does he but, we almost depend totally on each other for feedback on our looks and presentation. Especially 'does this kurta top match with this jeans?' or ' Should I wear sandals or shoes for this occassion..?'
Now, this has become such a thing that we make purchases also using same 'Quality Control' technique

After reading others response, do you think you will ask for help to keep the romantic flame glowing?

Hey, My DH definitely helps me a lot while I get dressed up. As one of our friends said, he helps get the wrinkle out of my pant pocket. He is the one who gets me my watch everyday to office / when we go out, most of the days, he selects what dress I should wear (and sometimes I do for him), If I have too many things in hand, he has helped me to even buckle up my shoes, whenever it is a back button blouse, he is the one who puts it and removes for me, he even puts bangle for me when am in a hurry. He helps me a lot in these ways. And the best part is at nights we usually apply coconut oil on arms, feet and face - we usually do it for each other.

I should actually thank you for this thread - sometimes i feel bad that my husband doesn't do certain things for me but now when I started to write this, i feel so thankful and proud that he actually does so many things for me.
