A Perfect Day!

Well ..my perfect day would be with my DH......and it would be the day when the momma-son duo are NOT on call with each other .... small wish.... small thing.... but perfect for me :-D

 

Errrrr, ahem .... cough, cough ....
This being a 'Married-Life" forum and me being a guy, what (whom?) you left out strikes me as more important than what you did say.

My Perfect day would be may be in a resort...(which i havent been earlier)
-Waking up late as usually...
-Walking through beauties of the resort to have a delicious and mouth watering breakfast without rush....
-walking back to cottage exploring highlights of resort..
-Sitting in the warm tub/pool having scented candles & instrumental music on..to pamper myself..
-Take some time to dress myself simple and pleasent with all the branded cosmetics & sprays(as i am more fascinated of them)
-Get lunch to the room and have it watching a moviee..Love to end it with Sundae
-Get into sleep watching rest of the movie.
-After sleep, want to go to gym to boost myself back, with music running in ipod...love to end it an awesome milkshake..
-Spend evening with some activity like rain dance/cycling/skating....
-Get back to have lite dinner..
-Back to sleep watching a movie or listing liteeee muziccc

Coming back to a normal day after a Perfect day would be refreshing..

 

Yay !! Nice thread. My idea of perfect day will be....

- Waking up late (about 10-11 am)
- Getting a huge delicious breakfast from my DH and a nice cup of coffee.
- Going to a mall or shopping center which I haven't visited yet.
- DH would buy everything I ask for. :hide:
- Have lunch in a good restaurant.
- Go to a nice movie with good mystery/suspense.
- Then husband will go home and I'll go to parent's place where Bro & Grandparents should be present too.
- Have a lengthy gibberish talks with all of them.
- DH will join for lovely dinner made by mom & granny.
- Then Dad would ask to me & bro to sing his favorite songs. My brother, who is a better singer, will find faults with my singing and tease me. Then grandpa will scold him and praise me. :thumbsup
- Then DH & me will go back to our home and go to bed.

 

A perfect day for me would be

Get up at 10...go to the kitchen and find breakfast ready somehow..have nice masala dosa.
Then cuddle up in the blanket with DH...watch MY fav show/movie
Lunch should again be ready...need some elaborate north or south indian spread
Get back and watch one more movie and sleep
Then dinner could be something like Thai/indo chinese
Again watch movie and sleep

(Im not a movie buff but hey thats all you can do when you want to laze on a sofa or bed!)

I love sweetshreya's idea though...half a day with DH and the other half with parents/siblings. Purrrrrfect!!!

 

Wow! Love your post, Priya.. Bless you for sharing this. In running the rat race, we so much miss the small lovely things in life that make it all worthwhile..

 

-get up by 7 ..(every day i wake up at 5:30)
-clean entiiire home (i love cleaning home )
-have nice pedicure, manicure,oil massage,facial
-order for niice pasta and eat it
-watch random movies on TV sitting on couch
-Sip a nice coffee watching sunset
-go for niiice candle light dinner with DH
-Come home and sleep

Wake up to find the whole house neat, clean and sparkling!
All clothes washed, dried, ironed and inside the respective wardrobes
Aroma of masala chai and garma garam upma
Having chai and upma at peace, without thinking how much time I'm taking and savoring each morsel.!
Find a new comfortable dress on the bed, and new bathing salts in my bathroom!
Have a nice hot bath at leisure, may be an hour or so!
Wear the new dress and flaunt it before the mirror!
Spread myself on the bed and watch Princess Diaries and dream of that wardrobe!! :hide:
A doorbell and my favorite pizza delivered without me having to make the payment
Munch through the pizza
Peaceful afternoon nap
A long walk by the river gushing and birds going back home with food for their lil ones (no river near my home, but I want it in my perfect day!)
Abrupt snowfall and being transported to a city shown in Home Alone :thumbsup
Finding DH praying in a church that the day he planned for me went awesome! :-D

Aaaaah! The peace that I got in this 2 minutes of typing this! :banana

most of the things you dream about are not entirely impossible.
so why not take steps to make your dream come true?
now logout and enjoy your perfect day,
if not an entire day, atleast one hour of the day.
