Need Gift ideas for my DH Birthday

Hi friends,
Jan 1st is my DH's B'day, First B'day after our marriage.
I dont know what to gift for him.
I need your suggestions/your worked out gift ideas.
Pour in your ideas and help me..

First birthday after marriage comes only once. So, splurge, indulge, enjoy and have a great time. You could buy him something he needs or uses on a regular basis like tie, shirt, comfortable shoes etc. These are functional not very romantic. For that, you could cook a nice dinner, bake a cake- as your talents lie. You will find a lot of recipes in Ask ChitVish section.

If u dont want to cook, maybe u could book a table in a nice restaurant. At times, even a simple evening, walking by the beach, eating some yummy chaat will be a good birthday gift. Enjoy the day both of you. Have a great year!

Thanx for ur quick reply.I too like to buy him something he uses often.Even i thought of electric shavers. But i think i cant go alone since the coming days are holidays for him.

First b,day after marriage is very important but you can't make it memorable with materialistic gift. I wanna tell you what i did for my Dh on his first bday this year .I celebrated his b'day at 12 at night with cake,candles,flowers etc.(my arrangements surprised him ) then i also arranged a surprise party for him by inviting his close colleages in bank at my own office and he says he will never forget his this b'day.

I had bought an ice cream cake and flowers for my hubby's first birthday after marriage...I also got him a cologne (Safari) which he loved.

You could also have a candle light dinner in the evening with his favorite food...

Other presents could be a sweater, tie, wallet, book etc..

You really made ur Hubby's 1st B'day with u a special day.It brought me to the Mood
For his previous B'day that came jus after our engagement i was in India and he was in dubai. I arranged a Red Rose Bouquet with the help of his Best friend here and they presented him at midnight on behalf of me.It was a big surprise for him as he didnt expect that. I could nt have done this without their help.

hmmm cake he is a pure vegetarian. so i need to search for eggless cake.
Flowers are always best to give.

Tie he needs to select by himself. I afraid to select on my own if he doesnt like.
Wallet sounds promising.
I got to try that one.

Most of the time I'm thinking of that only. How to make it special, how to make it unforgettable?
I am going to make his fav dishes on his B'day.
Going to make sweets.
Going to buy a nice T shirt/ wallet

Sorry logged in almost after a week. So how was the b'day celebration. Belated b'day wishes to your DH.

My husband shares the same date and yesterday we had given him a surprise party to him with a few friends over at our place.
