looking for madurai friends

hello all,

i am very much interested in making new friends from different places. i like to learn new things, new culture etc from my new find friends. i have always had a great passion for madurai. especially the meenakshi temple.. i just love that place. i hope i will find many friends through this forum and share many things/knowledge among us.

Welcome to Madurai forum. When do you plan to visit Mdu.? Tell us more abt. yourself - are you from Mdu. or born and brought up in U.S. ?Meenakshi temple is a wonderful place, there is so much histiry in it.

thanks for the warm welcome... originally i'm a malaysian indian. now living with my husband and kids in U.S. i've been to madurai twice and planning to come again next year.(hopefully). my husband is from madurai. beside his family, i don't know anyone over there.. so, i was hoping to find some good friends for myself. there r lot of interesting places in madurai.. and i also love the food. i can't recall the names cos i'm still not familiar with madurai yet. so, how abt u? r u working?

florida is quite nice place to live but anywhere we go, no place will match the homeland. the places u mentioned r wonderful. i've tried the parotta but not the small kadai idli. so, what r u doing? how many children do u have?
