I'm looking for a good parlour that will send people to my House about 2 hours from Madurai, so they can do my mehendi at my wedding next month. I'm willing to pay for travel expenses and additional charges for homeservice, but I just want someone who will make my hands look very nice because it is something I don't want messed up.

Hi Couchrose, Nice to hear such happy plans for your wedding, you seem to be one meticulous girl! Try sending a pm to the Madurai member Indhusri. She is Mrs Indhu Sridhar, wife of Varalotti Rengasamy who is the resident writer in IL. Indhusri has a good awareness of services in Madurai and I know that she has contacts/knowledge of the beauty/aesthetics circle. I will also fwd this link to her. Goodluck! regards Vidya

I have alot of friends from Northern India, and Pakistan, and in all of their wedding photos they have beautiful henna designs up to their elbows. Then I see pictures from weddings in my town, and people only have the traditional "dosais" and "idlis" from the fresh henna. I'm determined not to allow that to happen at my wedding.
