Looking after mother in law even after Divorce

Good to see/virtual meet you having a true relationship with your FIL even after D.

 

Ya, many people do exist.

My aunt keep in touch with my mom even after divorcing my uncle (mom's bro who is no more). We do visit this aunt's house, and attended cousin's marriage several years after my uncle had passed away.

My another uncle's ex GF (whom he dated for many years and almost married) still keep in touch with my mom though she is married to another person and has 2 kids.

So, such relationships do exist, and they really earn the love by their act, and not through the relatives.

 

I had a SIL who was step daughter of my ex MIL.
She was treated bad,married off very young in village.She is very happy in life and settled in London.Whenever she now visits India she always calls/msg.
We are surrounded by beautiful people,there are only few that are disconnected to themselves.I personally try to cherish the lil positive light that we see in day to day life than be stuck to the major trauma that happened in past.
