I feel ALIVE!!!

I finally feel alive!!

I have been separated for more than a year and have been divorced for a little while. Even before that, my relationship with my Ex was totally dead, physically and emotionally, for more than 3 years. We were just living under the same roof like room mates.

I went out with someone a couple of days ago and after the dinner, when he kissed me, I felt ALIVE!!!!! I am not being shameless, but just trying to share with other women here that for once, I truly enjoyed a simple kiss and felt every bone in my body come alive. And, I had been dreading this moment for so long......

The best part is, I did not feel guilty about anything!! Divorce is indeed like a death....but, it is also the beginning of new and wonderful things in life!!!

Very true, why should one feel guilty for being loved , that's why I post that article on why do we need relationships.

Everyone has an inherent urge to be loved, to be appreciated, to be made to feel improtant, to be taken care of and those who say, they don't have this urge are either lying or are dead.

I always say I don't want to exist, I want to live.

I am happy for you that you have someone who gave you a lease of life .

Wishing you all the very best in your life and thanks for making us the part of your happiness. We at Indusladies are like family members and who would not feel happy to know that a member of theirs is happy.

Please make this forum also alive with posts of your. Your post may give, hope, happiness to many. They may help someone in taking crucial decison in their lives.

I agree when you say that we all need to feel valued and it just feels so good when you know someone likes you for who you are....and just the way you are!!

Mine was an arranged marriage and I was 22. I had never dated anyone prior to my marriage. So, to have this new lease of life at 32, it just feels so good.

With everything I have learnt in these last 10 years, I feel a little more wiser about life and hopefully, will make better choices in life. Even if this new relationship does not go anywhere, it just feels nice to know that whatever will happen, good or bad, it will be MY choice, my decision, I get to take the credit or the blame and no one is forcing me to do anything.
