Labor bag checklist

Hi All ILites(To be Moms),
I remember the day when gynic gave me a checklist and bring accordingly as soon as I experience any pains. That list helped me out to carryout my needs,my new born needs and stay in hospital etc. I want to share that checklist with all our ILites. As soon as you cross 36 weeks, get ready and be prepared mentally and physically . So ladies get your bag ready and keep it in corner of Car. So once your delivery is over, you may not be able to move for your needs. So if you arrange them in a bag, your family members would help you out.
I also would like to give you out some information whch you have to take care while joining for labour.
If you are covered by your employer, before you join for delivery, get some information from hospital finance department like how much is the coverage, which insurance company, who is the contact person from hospital and insurance authorities, how much is the coverage, will the new born is also covered, what are the papers need to brought. Store the insurance person's contact number in your phone. If possible give him/her a call and inform the same that you are joining for labour. While discharging from hospital, there wont be any delay in billing.
IF you are not covered, get in touch with your employer's finance department and get some information on Domicillairy Claims.
While in hospital, dont forget to take bills for any single penny expense. Your or Your hubby can claim it.

Your pregnancy File

Cotton nighties or salwars(Atleast 3-4 sets)
Feeding bras and panties(As many panties)
One pair of cheppals
Cloth to cover head and ears
Recieving blanket for baby
Draper for baby
Soft towel
Soft cotton cloth for his bed
Napkin to cover his head
4-5 pairs of baby dresses
gloves and socks
Two bedsheets
Cotton Cloth pieces for cleaning baby's stool
Diapers(atleast 2 packs)
Apart from these -
Admission forms/papers
Baby name book
Camera and/or video camera
Cash
Change for the phone/phone card
Extra batteries/battery pack
Film and tapes
Sweets for distribution
Health insurance card
Pregnancy/birth reference book [/SIZE][/FONT]

I think these are enough. Rest of the things iwll be taken care after delivery. So have a safe labour journey!!!!:thumbsup
