Hi Krishnamma Thanks for all the delicious recipes. I tried a few and they are all so good. I am really looking for recipe for Davangere Benne Dosa recipe. I used to eat them as a child when I visited my aunt in Davangere, Karnataka. She also used to make green chilli based pickle called "Karandi". She usually added carrots, beans to it and stored it for about a month only. I will be so excited to get these recipes. Could you post them, please Krishnamma? Please.
Hi Ctindia, I received 2 posts like this. :-D Just click this link for Davangere Benne Dosa recipe But the other one I dont know. Actually this one I got from my firend for you. She is not aware about the pickle. Let me try elsewhere. Mean while enjoy your favorite dosa. clap:clap And please give me a feed back with out fail.
Can you please post all the greens translation. I havent learnt much cooking from my mom before wedding and finding it tuff to buy any greens here.
Dear Krishnamma, Just saw this thread. Very good effort. Just one doubt, you have mentioned cashewnut as gerbeeja but I have heard as Godambi. Are both the same? Kindly clarify. What are sultanas - is it dry grapes?
Dear Lalitha, I posted them from Sanjiv Kapoor's site. Actually I dont know Kanada, :confused2::ideaYou can ask sombody who knows kanada.
