Dear Krishamma,
I made today "Then Khuzhal" with corn flour,it was very good.
This is the first time im trying to do the muruku variety,i found difficult to squeeze it properly,so i called my mother and asked her suggestion. She told me to add little bit water into it.
At last it was good, but one of them splashed on my hand.,the hot oil is oooooo..... too much irritation in my hands now.
But surely we r going to enjoy the "then khuzhal" today.
Thanks for ur receipe....
Rgds,
suba

Krishnamma,
I tried the 'Fried sweetened whole wheat'. it tasted like the prasadam we keep it for Lord Satyanarayana'.
I made this for the Vijayadashami because i wanted the prasadam to be simple.
Everybody liked it.

Hi krishnamma,
Today i made Besan ke laddu. They were fine but i am having a doubt in my mind.I don't know how to check whether besan is prepared. Please tell me whether when it emit sweet smell or it starts leaving ghee or when it turns brown.I had used first two indications but taste seems that it is little bit uncooked or raw.I thught that it will taste different if let to be brown or cooked for more time.

Sorry I could not reply you for a long time bonkJust cook for more min. Keep the gas flame 'sim' and do so you can prevent the flour with out becoming black. ok?
