Sweet Kosmalli Sweet Kosmalli - Is a sweet salad. Children will like this. :droolYou can add 'tutty fruitu' for them. You can add grated carrot or beet root as per your wish. Ingredients: 1 cup Channa dal - soak in water for around 20 minutes. 1 cup grated coconut 3/4 or 1 cup sugar 1/2 sp cardamom powder Method: 1/2 cook the channa dal so that they are separate and not overcooked. Drain excess water and allow to cool. Once the channa dal is cooled, mix all the ingredients and serve immediately, otherwise it will become watery. Note: The amount of sugar and coconut in this recipe can be varied according to your taste.

hi raja lakshmi welcome to indusladiesBow any receipes A-Z if you go to receipes forum and check any of chitvish post you'll find a link called A-Z receipes(below chitvish signature) there you'll get everything, and also if you check krishnamma's kitchen you'll find a lot of easy cookign receipes im pasting chitvish receipe for kuzhi paniyaram here for you, if you are buying a new kuzhipaniyaram maker-go for a non-stick one Kuzhi Paniyaram - my family's favourite, on my b'day ! <HR style="COLOR: #ffffff" SIZE=1>Boiled rice - 1 cup Raw rice - 1 cup Urad dhal - ¼ cup Methi seeds - 2 tsp Salt Oil - to shallow fry To temper: Oil - 2 tsp Mustard seeds - 1 tsp Urad dhal - 2 tsp Finely chopped onions - ½ cup ( or more) Green chillies, finely chopped - 5,6 Grated coconut - 2 tbsp ( optional) Wash & soak rices, dhal & methi seeds together for 6 hrs. Grind fine adding salt & water. Allow to ferment for 10-12 hrs. Temper the given ingredients & mix well. Keep it in dosa batter consistency. Drop small amounts in appakaral & shallow fry. Serve with onion – tomato chutney.
Yellow Moong Kosambri Ingredients: 1 small cup Yellow Moong dal - soak in wate for 1/2 an hour 1 medium size cucumber (optional) 1 carrot - grated 2 - 4 green chilly - finely chopped 1 sp lemon juice 1/2 sp mustard seeds 1 sp oil Salt Method: In a bowl put soaked moongal dal with out water. Put grated cucumber and carrot and mix. Add finely chopped green chilly. Add salt and mix well. In a pan pour oil and make seasoning. Pour the seasoning in this. Add lemon juice and mix well. Your ' kosambari' is ready to serve. Note: You can add grated mango also in this. At that time you can avoid lemon juice. Or you can add grated fresh coconut in this. Usually we prepare this on Sri Rama Navami day with Neer moor and Panagam.
Sprouted Green Gram Kosambri Kosambri is a healthy Indian snack for kids, loved by both the young and the old. Ingredients: 1 cup sprouted green moong 1 cup Fresh Pomegranate 1 tab sp fresh coconut 1/2 sp salt 1/2 sp lemon juice 1 tbs chopped coriander leaves Method: In a big bowl, put sprouted green moong dal, pomegranate, fresh coconut and lemon jucie. Mix well and add salt. And garnish with coriander leaves. Serve as a healthy snack. You can serve chill or as it is. Note: To make sprout, Soak the dry green gram in warm water and leave it overnight. Drain all the water the next day and cover and keep in a warm place to sprout. It takes anywhere between 2 to 3 days for the greengram to sprout.
