Unhappy Problem with lenses

Hi Girls,

I used to wear specs but a week back I changed to lenses. However, I cannot put my lenses and every time I try to put it and bring the lenses near to my eyes, my eyes start blinking. What should I do about it?
I was dying to change to lenses and now when I have changed to lenses I cannot even put it.
Please tell me girls, what should I do about it?

Mousumi

It happens at first but, as eyes get accustomed to lens, you will feel it better. It is same as the 'first troubles' with Spectacles, like how it irritates nose and ears. But be sure of cleaning the lens daily and change the liquid in case very often.

Hope you will be comfortable with lens, soon.

Hold the top and bottom of the eyes(ie the eyelids and the skin below eyes) with your left hand fingers.Widen your eyeballs and fix the lenses.I am sure the opthamologist would have taught you.Ask him to teach you again.

Unhappy Re: Problem with lenses

Hey Bujji and Supriya,

Thanks for your help. I think I should go to the ophthalmologist. Thanks for suggesting this Supriya.
It is really difficult. I don’t know I put it on, but the lenses move away from my eyeballs. That should not happen, right?
Specs were better option for me, I guess. Specs are hassle-free.

Take care,

Mousumi
