Looking for some new good books

Hello everyone,

I am an avid reader , currently I am reading Man Eater of Malgudi. It is fun to read. The humor of R .K .Narayan is really commendable. Anyways, can you please tell me the names of some new good books in the market and also about the writers?

Hey Aditi,

You can try and read ‘In This Way I Was Saved’ by Brian DeLeeuw. It's about a young man that copes with a mother that has severe psychological/suicidal problems by inventing an imaginary friend. The kicker is that the imaginary friend is the narrative voice in the novel.
The story line is different indeed. A good read.

You can read ‘A Long Way Gone’ By Ishmael Beah. It was published in 2007, I have read it. It is about a child soldier. The writer himself tells about his experience as a child soldier from Sierra Leone. he is a young writer.

You will like it.

Hi Aditi,

Sorry for late reply. If you haven’t read ‘The Kite Runner’ you can read that. It is really an awesome book. The book is written with much emotion, you will love it. It is one of my favorite books.
One note of advice, don’t watch the movie, it is one of the worst adaptations of literary pieces. Don’t watch it. But do read the book and tell me how it is.
