Is Kaminey a good movie?

Hey Friends,

I am planning to watch Kaminey in this weekend. But before going for it, I wanna have your opinion. Is it a good movie? Is it worth a watch? I have read about the reviews and most of them have really appreciated the movie, especially the acting of Shahid Kapur. I like Shahid a lot.

Hi aparajita I havent seen the movie yet but have heard a lot of positive reviews...also not a single negative review have I come across for Kaminey.someone did mention that the story is nothing new but its directed well and is worth spending our time.

To tell you the truth, Kaminey is not an extraordinary movie. I have watched it last weekend and dint at all like it. Ya, the reviews were good, but Vishal Bharadwaj dint live up to the expectations. I had really expected that it would be very different, rightly justifying the name of the movie, however, it dint turn out to be so.
I don’t think you should go and watch the movie.
But yes, Shahid was too good.

Don’t for Kaminey, it is not a good movie. Ami is right; it has practically got no story line. The thing that only goes well with the title of the film is the dark shades that are used. All in all, it is a time pass movie. It is no match to Omkara or Maqbool.
Go for Public Enemies instead, it is worth a watch, and watch for Johnny as John Dillinger.

Sorry Bhaswati and Debjani, I have watched ‘Kaminey’ this weekend. I liked it, but you both are true, not a Vishal Bharadwaj type movie though, but can be watched. The ending was bogus and Rajatave was a waste.

I am planning to download Public Enemies soon. Yeah!!!!!!!
