I am sure that you all read books, I used to be a bookworm once. Anyways, I wanna know who your favorite author is or are. Whose writing do you love most and have read all the books written by that particular author?
I used to read a lot of mills & boon series..but lately I have started liking Chetan Bhagat..I read all of his books..I m yet to read the book The 3 mistakes of my life. Waiting to get that book.
Hi both of you, I like reading Indian writing in English. And presently my favorite author is Amitav Ghosh. I have read three of his novels, ‘The Hungry Tide’, ‘The Shadow Lines’ and ‘The Glass Palace’. However, for me the best is ‘The Hungry Tide’, I fell in love with the Sundarbans. I have ‘The Sea of Poppies’ as well, but presently I am reading ‘Man-eaters of Malgudi’. I like the writing of R.K. Narayan as well. Between, I have read all the three books by Chetan Bhagat and my advice to Jaishree would be not to read ‘The 3 Mistakes of My Life’. Take care, Sreejata
Hello Girls, Wow!!! This has to be my favorite topic of discussion till now. Well, I am an avid reader, I read whatever I get even it can be a ‘thonga’. Lol!!! However, if I have to write my favorite author then it has to be Leo Tolstoy, James Joyce and Will Davies. I have read ‘Anna Karenina’ of Tolstoy, the novel probably with the best beginning. I have read ‘Portrait of an Artist as Young Boy’ and ‘Dubliners’. Of Will Davies I have read ‘My Side of the Story’. That’s it… Share yours as well. Bye, Reshmi
Hey Everybody, Firstly thanks to Teesta for bringing up this topic. I have one author in common with you Reshmi; I am too fond of the writing of Leo Tolstoy. Other than him, I like the writings of Rabindranath Tagore, O Henry, Satyajit Ray, Samaresh Basu and Sarat Chandra Chattopadhyay. Keep posting girls. Love… Sriparna
