Grain of Salt - 22, Camac Street

I suddenly have a feeling that I have not been to Grain of Salt since ages and I am missing it. Grain of Salt is one of the most classy and prestigious restaurants of Kolkata.

Sanjeev Kapoor, the stalwart chef of India had given birth to Grain of Salt and every thing about this restaurant tells Sanjeev Kapoor does rule.

Located at 22, Camac Street, Block D, 5^th Floor, Grain of Salt is a hundred percent Sanjeev Kapoor affair.

Grain of Salt is quite expensive but the excellent quality of food and services justify the cost.

Piya, your account of Grain of Salt reminds me of my experiences at Kwality, Park Street. During my father’s posting at Kolkata, all our family occasions were celebrated at Kwality, Park Street. My birthdays, my parents’ birthdays and their anniversaries always culminated into either a lunch or a dinner at this restaurant.

The continental cuisine that Kwality, Park Street serves is extraordinarily brilliant. They also serve a wide range of delicious Indian cuisine. The items that I love the most about Kwality, Park Street are Fried Prawns, Tandoori Chickens and Naans.

They also serve sinful ice-creams and desserts which I adored as a kid.
