How is Mamata Banerjee doing in West Bengal politics?

Hey, What's the election wind saying in West Bengal? Can anybody update me? What about Mamata Banerjee? How would her party Trinamool do in Bengal? What are the latest issues? I'm really eager to know about Buddhadeb Bhattacharya too. How are the Leftists doing?

Hope you all can update me. I really miss watching the poll results on TV with my Dad! It was somewhat like watching those exciting India-Pakistan cricket matches, where you would never know what happened till it ended.

Mamta di has done really well and for the first time in 32 years, the Left front has suffered massive losses in West Bengal.The writing on the wall is clear. It has been a long and hard journey for Mamta di.

This was my first vote. I went to the booth at the earliest. I was very excited from the morning and so I was on the day of results. My brother, uncle, father and I remained glued to the television throughout the day. TMC sweep over CPM maybe have worked because of their coalition with the Congress. What do you all think?

Hmmmm... that’s what I think, however, I am very very apolitical. But would like to hear your views as well. Do share here. Teesta, election in India or for that matter in our state is much more than the India-Pakistan cricket match.
