    Hi Sudha,

Sorry dear.. Can't help you much herebonk...I haven't made them.

It seems like a knitted mat kinda thing..

On second thoughts it appears as a beaded mat as well.. :confused2:

Lets wait for others to give their opinions

    Re: Aarti Plates

    Dear Archana,

Like aishu said, u can collect those things and further more you can add ur extraordinary jewellery set (i know u will) and small cute dolls which u get in many material, even in small pieces of glass they have made, i think they are called as rajasthani dolls. And u can also add A set of chudidar material (a grand one according to ur budget) and also a designer sari (according to this u can make matching jewellery), Hair bands will do, shampoo, soap, creams (according to the climatic conditions) and u can add further more if u want.

    Hey Honeytha,

You are just echoing my thoughts. I also thought of all this, and of course matching self made jewellery. Cosmetics, Salwar, a sari and some kurtis (manni will live in the US) and dolls are there in the list. thanks for the suggestions.

I heard they get sugar dolls at banglore - where in chennai is it avaialble? I will soon start making the plates, once i do tht, i will post it all one by one

    Thanks archana,

All the best for ur works

    Re: Aarti Plates

    Hai,
You can create your own plates by dolls and flowers or what ever theme you plan . better go for plastic plates with many colours ie each plate must differ in colours.
create a park in market you get flowers and leaves dolls based on these create by your own idea.

    All by thinking new
    bye
