crochet blue lady doily

very very nice doily and it looks like a lady!! Wow wonderful!! i have also go thro' many sites of doilies but they were all in white colour,but yours is in blue color........i am very happy by giving first feedback

nice one.

you need to block the work..like take a cardboard piece. place the work on it.. pull the work to the correct size, not stretch..and then pin it up. now take some water and spray it on the piece, and allow it to dry. this will give you the correct shape.like the chain stitches are making a dip at some places.. if you are looking at stiffening, and do not have any problems with ants or any other insects use sugar stiffening as you did for your bowl.

otherwise boil corn starch, and make a liquid consistency..spray it on the piece and allow it dry. you can then mount it to the required frame.
