Fall colors in February !!!

Hello friends,

Here is a lacy ribbed knitted stole.

As expected, Stockinette stitch curls along the edges. Yet to block it.

already another one anitha!! good colors..next time parcel to my place some of these wonderful colors and yarns..i am j of michaels ...

the stockinette or garter stitch always curls at the edge..that is the reason we use a rib even if it is these stitches we knit for sweaters and shawls. try a pair of lines of dc/sc into the edges by picking stitches along the way..

Yes Shanvy, I was planning a crochet border too.

Then I read in one blog that this curling is nice especially for stoles because if makes it soft around the neck. (but she was selling the stole. So not sure if she was telling the truth). So decided to try it first and then decide whether it needs a border.
