The Chocolate Buns
Old Mrs. Jones baked some delicious chocolate buns. Her grand children Anna and Mike were coming over for tea and Mrs. Jones wanted to make something tasty for them. But just as she was about to lay the table, her daughter called and said “The children could not come because they had a lot of homework”. So the old woman had tea by herself and ate two buns. “What shall I do with them?” she thought. “I can’t eat them, neither can I let them go waste”. So when the milk-man came with the cream, she gave the buns to him. Now the milk man did not like chocolate, so he gave them to his daughter, Lulu. Lulu did not want them, but she wanted some money to buy a new doll so she sold them to Ms. Park. Ms. Park was going to her niece’s house and was going to stop at the market to by her a bar of chocolate. But now that she had the buns, she went straight to the niece’s house. That day Lilly, Ms. Park’s niece was not in a very good mood. She refused to help her mother lay the table for dinner and dropped the bowl of boiled potatoes so that they could not be eaten anymore. “You are a naughty little girl!”, said her mother “You don’t deserve the buns. So instead, you will sell them to the baker girl and use the money to buy new potatoes for Daddy’s dinner”.
So the sulky little girl sold the buns to the baker girl. The baker girl bought them, but she already had enough chocolate buns. So she sold them to the next village bakery. Now who visited the bakery just then, Anna, Mike and Mom! Mom had been pleased with the children and had taken them to the bakery to buy them a treat. They chose the chocolate buns, as they looked wonderful. So no one, except me and you, know that Mike and Anna could eat Mrs. Jones chocolate buns after all. When we do something with love it will reach the person somehow.
Well narrated, interesting story. I should say it is brilliant write up for a nine year old kid!
My hugs and blessings to her. I pray God to help her in future endeavors.

It is a beautiful story. And look at the lovely thought process of the 9 year old. I should say, it reflects in your excellent and holistic brought up. Kudos to the kutty girl!
