| Hi Shanti, This is excellent. She has got her embroidery done so well, for a beginner. Her pecil sketching is also good. She needs to be groomed to become a professional. You get good pencil sketching books in Landmark which she can draw and you can get it framed and adorn your living room!!! I am sure it will make her proud to see her work. A pat of appreciation on the girl's back, I am glad you posted it for us to see. Regards Poornima. |

thank you. Will convey your appreciations to her. my avatar is also a painting by her. her pencil sketches are just continuation of what is already here in another thread. Yes even honeytha suggested the same that i should frame. will frame later, since i have a son, who is not so good at drawing should not feel so left out, will post some of his imaginations also later.

| Dear Shanthi, hope you all had a good time with Veda. He must be missing you all very much. You did a very good thing, teaching your daughter the basics of embroidery in the holidays. I see many mothers wasting the precious time, giving some lame excuses for their children themselves. She is surely going to enjoy a great time all her life, now that she can create many things. Her work looks very good, considering she is just starting. She will do better with more practise, that I can see. Sketch is also good. Please do tell her that I send my best wishes to her. What about Srivatsan? What did he do during the holidays? |
